The WB-5 Arca Spec QD bipod was designed to provide desired height and extra stability. This bipod style is ideal for long-range, extreme long-range, bench-rest, and for the airsoft platform. The wide, lowered center allows the rifle to sit between the legs which supports accuracy and helps reduce movement from recoil. This is only a suggested use, this model is not exclusive for these applications.

The WB-5 is 100% billet, made from the highest quality aircraft aluminum available. This model has the versatility you want in a bipod with its 4 individual leg positions and 9 notch height options. It also has the ability to cant, which can be locked and secured with the adjustable lever. Our quick detach rail mount is simple, quick, and very secure; it attaches to an Arca Swiss or Arca style rail and mounts in seconds without the need to use extra tools for tightening.

To engage or adjust leg position, simply pull the spring-loaded leg downward to move each leg independently. Leg position can be deployed to 90° or 45°, locking securely into 4 positions. Please keep in mind the cant adjustment lever can be repositioned, DO NOT use a tool to tighten the canting tension. Please click here to see how.

Very good with only minor tweaks

My planned uses for this include practice and classes on the range and PRS style matches. The 40% off flash sale made the WB5 Arca Spec the superior choice over the Harris with Arca adapter to me. This bipod is very stable! The Arca mount was easily adjustable to fit the rail on a XLR Element 4.0 chassis to my desired tension. I was surprised to see no locking mechanism on the QD lever for securing it in the closed position, so take extra care to avoid snags when moving or adjusting other equipment. Deploying the legs is slower than with a Harris, but I like having the multiple positions and the concealed retention springs are a cleaner design. The shape of the legs provide good grip for pulling against the retention spring to set the leg position. There is a very tiny amount of play in each leg position, but that clearance is probably necessary to shed sand and dirt and prevent binding. I'm a little nervous about the use of a split lock washer and thin hex nut to secure the leg pivot bolt to the frame, but I'll keep an eye on it and possibly apply threadlocker to the nuts if they start loosening. The cant adjustment mechanism works great, and I like the ability to reposition the lever when the cant is locked. The lever is plastic, which gives me concern about durability, but is probably so to prevent wear on the mechanism and also be an inexpensive replacement part if it breaks. The leg height adjustments can be made quickly and easily up and down in any leg position, even from a prone shooting position. The rubber feet are grippy and secure on smooth concrete, and seem to be durable on sand, gravel, and dirt. They will rotate and loosen if you move the rifle forward and backward. I followed the suggestion to use medium threadlocker to prevent this. If you remove the rubber feet, take care not to lose the little collar that fits between the foot and leg. When disassembling for initial inspection and cleaning, I found a small amount of sand between the collar and leg that I cleaned out before reassembling. Overall, I'm very happy with this bipod.

Good but overpriced

Legs are wobbly when not extended, at rest
Callled accu tac and they said it is how it is till deployed
Other bipods I have used have not been that way
More use will let me k ow if it’s worth the hype

Solid Heavy Bi-pod

The WB-5 has good range of adjustment, holds setting under recoil, and with the P-Ski feet tracks well for prone or bench shooting on a leather, kevlar, or foam rubber front mat. Unlike other bipods, it has very little clearance between components making for a very solid shooting platform hence my five stars!
